I enjoyed this very much, both in the real version on my teevee, and in the lego version. Alex Ferguson, not known for being a classy loser, said that Bayern players acted like "typical Germans" to get his player sent off. Ahem. I say: Hello, I'm pot; kettle, you're black!

my favorite was his claim that the english media covered ManU with a 'mist of venom'- it burns! it burns! that mist is all venomy and shit...

and if you lived here you'd know how even more ridiculous it is... the media here sucks up to that guy more than anybody... he gets away with all kinds of bullshit, saying all kinds of bullshit, and it's all, "Siralex, Siralex." For Chirst's sake, they showed him on tv the next day because a horse he owns won a race. They interviewed him and everything! Venom, sting-y, sting-y venom.

all of this venom talk provides a very nice segue to the absolutely poisonous nature (similar to the gut-clutching pain one might experience after eating mayonnaise in an airport) of the Tribe bullpen. Holy crap. those jokers are like a joke. a very very bad joke.

The Cub bullpen has been pretty lousy too. One pitcher has gone to the DL with "forearm strain", a new injury that most Cub fans think means "walking lots of guys". But it was pleasant yesterday with two down in the bottom of the 8th to watch the Cub mount a comeback against Milwaukee's ex-Cub reliever LaTroy Hawkins. There's an amazing number of sucky ex-Cub middle relievers in Major League Baseball. And one good but chronically injured one with the Tribe! Circle complete. Sunrise, sunset.
