Nevertheless, a promise is a promise. Here's Kate feeling optimistic before the Australia's World
Cup match against Germany.
We won't talk about what happened during the match.
We even got Eila, the daughter of our friends Scott and Dawnnica, to get her Aussie spirit on:
Not that it helped them all that much...

Speaking of World Cup, I'm disappointed that I missed being in England for the Germany v England match. However, I'm pleased to report that the newspapers are still whining about it this morning. Hahahahahahahahahahahaha. Ha!
yeh, well being in Germany for the germany vs. england match wasn't all shits and giggles. i have been absolutely appalled by the german commentators. supporting your side/nation/whatever is all fine and good, but the arrogance and condescension they bring to the game is truly astonishing.
C'mon Jeff, While the refs missed an England goal which meant that Germany was up one at the half instead of tied, it was perfectly okay because Germany was the better team and played better that half. So really it was quite fair.
I think you're misunderstanding me. I totally agree that the Germans deserved to win that game. The english were a shower and the germans played really well. Hut ab.
My complaint is that the german commentators are frickin' absurd. not just with this match, but across the entire tournament. and it's only gotten worse as the german squad (deservedly) progresses further.
I was being sarcastic.
oops. totally missed that. blog foul for this guy
